Hot on the heels of the finalist announcement for the Cornwall Business Awards, we are delighted to open the public vote for Business of the Year – for the very first time!

From Newquay to Helston and Liskeard to Penzance, this year’s finalists span the length and breadth of Cornwall. From sole traders to larger enterprises, we were absolutely delighted to see a broad variety of businesses and organisations from such diverse sectors including, marine, finance, tourism, manufacturing, tech and many more.

For the first time, Business of the Year will be chosen by the public and all finalists from across the 14 categories are in the running to win this award. The vote will be live right up until the night of the Awards on 27th June.

We are really excited to launch this new category and open up the decision making to the public, asking them to choose their Business of the Year from a really fantastic group of finalists. As the vote will close during the Awards evening itself, no one will know who has triumphed until minutes before the winner is announced – not even us!

This year, we introduced a number of new awards, including Sole Trader of the Year, Product of the Year, and the Circular Economy Award. Every finalist will also be in the running for £10,000 worth of marketing support from media partner Pirate FM, which will be chosen by the Pirate FM team and announced on the night.
