Through taking part in the YESW Cornwall Company programme, students set up and run a company over an academic year. They elect a board of directors, raise share capital and market and finance a product/service of their own choice. Finally, they liquidate the company and present a report and accounts. During the year they have opportunities to take part in Trade Fairs and the year culminates with the opportunity to enter the YESW Cornish Innovation Awards. The YESW Cornish Innovation Award will be presented to the winners at the Cornwall Business Awards presentation evening.
