Business Innovation of the Year Award sponsored by Combined Universities in Cornwall

This award will be made to the company that best demonstrates success with an innovative individual product or service launched anytime in the last year. The judges will be looking for evidence of initial understanding of the market; scale and depth of the planning and development prior to the launch; market acceptance (e.g. market research, press reviews,reports, industry awards); proof of bookings/ sales; and demonstration of the long-term potential (i.e. Projected marketshare, projected sales figures).

The Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) is a unique partnership of all the universities and colleges offering higher education in Cornwall.  The CUC was created as an economic regeneration initiative, to increase the range ofuniversity-level education available and to develop the capacity for research and innovation in Cornwall.
